Practitioners who observe, not just babysit
At Greenhill we care for and teach children. Our team plans play purposefully across all six Early Learning and Development Areas (ELDAs) of South Africa's national framework, in a calm, prepared environment, so that play and learning are the same thing with us.

Principal & OwnerHimne started Greenhill with one conviction: that every child should be deeply loved and purposefully taught. She leads our team with an observant eye; she knows every child's name, rhythm and next little milestone.

TeacherAlicia plans play that matters: every activity in her class is linked to one of the six learning areas. She follows the child's curiosity and extends it at just the right moment.

Senior Teaching AssistantOlphina is the calm, familiar face that keeps our days flowing. She supports our teachers and keeps the prepared environment tidy and at child height, so every child has the security to explore freely.

Teaching AssistantJacky brings warmth and patience to every moment, from hand-washing to tidy-up time. She helps children master the small practical life skills that build confidence and independence.

Teaching AssistantSalamiena's gentle presence makes even our littlest ones feel safe. She supports our daily routines and gives the one-on-one attention that small groups make possible.

CookOuma Bettie’s kitchen is the heart of the home. She prepares a fresh breakfast and a warm lunch every day: good nutrition that supports the Well-being learning area and helps children’s bodies and minds grow.
